VUZIX WRAP 920 VIRTUAL REALITY 3D SUNGLASS

Vuzix, makers of personal video viewing devices, has released a sneak peak of their new video eyewear game-changer, one that they say will revolutionize the on-face virtual reality experience. Named "The Wrap 920AV", the headgear represents the first of its kind that can function as either sunglasses or portable video eyewear. The unit will include virtual reality capabilities along with augmented reality features, and can be connected to almost any type of media player.

The Wrap 920AV features also include built-in audio for quiet viewing, as well as individual focal adjustments. The earbuds on the unit are directly attached, so all you have to do is pop them in and you're ready to go. Visually, the glasses themselves thankfully seem to be designed a lot sportier when compared to similar VR units, which tended to make wearers look like Jordy from Star Trek.

The system will be officially launched at this year's CES, where on-site demonstrations will be made available for attendees. For more information on the newest in portable interactive video, visit the Vuzix website.
